Learning that can be reached
In government school courtyards and classrooms around Kurukshetra, the Foundation has sat with students and spoken about the next step. In Nivarsi village it has carried an education-awareness visit. At the office, books have been placed in students’ hands.
That photographed work sits inside a larger written mandate: to open and run schools, to support rural literacy, and to keep scholarships and stationery available for students who need them.
Support for needy students
The Memorandum provides for free stationery and for admitting, training and motivating students.
Rural education
Rural schools, the ability to read and write curriculum books and literature, and the recruitment of qualified teachers are named objects.
Scholarships
Scholarships are authorised. Individual awards will be listed when they are formally documented.
Learning opportunities
Career counseling seminars in government schools and an education tour to Jaipur have been photographed.
Academic development
Workshops, seminars, debates and presentations sit among the Foundation’s further objects.
Arts & cultural activities
The MOA asks the Foundation to encourage arts, culture and drama among students.
